The Wonders of Water Shoes—Mom & Dad’s Best Friend

There are few things greater than getting my family outside and adventuring. Nevertheless, the excitement generated by prospects of outdoor fun always leads to a level of chaos prior to the outing that sometimes can be overwhelming. What snacks to pack?  Where is the sun block?  Who saw the baby last?  (Okay, I am kidding about that one!)  The last thing a parent needs is gear that doesn’t fit the occasion or the adventure. Come summer, I swear by the all-around ‘river sandal.’

Top quality kids’ shoes are essential no matter the season, and they’re one of those clothing items worth spending a little extra money on. Think about it: purchasing the right river sandal for your child can actually save you money!  Not only will they last longer than budget brands, with a sturdy sole, Velcro straps for easy on and off, UV protection and the ability to slip a sock on and still wear the sandal frees your child to disregard all the other shoes in their closet!
